On this show I played a huge pile of 90's surf rock for most of the first hour. Also some classic 60's surf & for 4:20 some mid 60's Boogaloo from Tom & Jerrio. I finished the show off with a Battle of the Bands album The Montesas Vs The Imperial Surfers from 2013. ENJOY!

Frequency Downshifting - Season 2 Episode 1 - Ocean plastics cleanup

For the first hour I played a good mix of surf rock, old and new. Moving into the 2nd hour with some Psychobilly and Garage-rock. At 4:20 I played 3 tracks off of DEATH FROM ABOVE brand new album "Outrage Is Now!" ALSO I told about some of the updates on THE OCEAN CLEANUP PROJECT (https://www.theoceancleanup.com/updates/) and Finished the show off with some Garage-punk and Surf-punk. A little bit of diferent sounds on this episode. I played some 60's Psychedelic & some newer Garage Psychedelic. At 4:20 some music recorded during the mid 60's in Sierra Leone. From artist S.E. Rogie and the album PALM WINE MUSIC - The 60's Sound - 3 unique  (calypso) tracks. Plus a good mix of Surf & Rockabilly as usual. :) Enjoy!!

IT'S SUMMERLAND!! Another great mix of old and new surf-rock. Lots of great Garage-rock, some fantastic Rockabilly, a little PunX RawK & some Horrorbilly PLUS  for 4:20 the first three tracks from the brand new Electronic Synth-wave album SUMMERLAND from "Shadows and Mirrors"

Starting the show off I have a some psychobilly tracks including a request for Ghost Riders In The Sky. A Fan and I  were talking about all the smoke with the erie sunsets and the glowing red full moon. So I have some spooky Halloween imspired songs. As always a good mix of Surf & Rockabilly. At 4:20 some Reggae Calypso from Toronto band Kobo Town. Plus some Garage and hillbilly rock. Enjoy... 

ENDLESS SUMMER. Starting off with some classic surf rock sounds. And moving into a whole pile of new Surf-rock tracks from 2016-17. Also some promo for the upcoming Dadweed, Sea Krakens, We, Punk Jams & Royal Jelly show (Sat Aug 5th at Mckinneys pub). Some Spooky Surf-a-billy to start the second hour of the program and at the end of the show a newer track from Nine Inch Nails & some techno from Nancy Dru. I went to Vancouver over the weekend and saw Nancy Dru perform as support for Italian Techno artist NEEL. Enjoy...

Music and talking about the New Public Library with a friend, pros and cons

The bears have long since woken up and are even being reported breaking into sheds and houses around town.  We will hear from the local WildSafeBC community officer about how to keep wildlife wild and our community safe. 

Love is in the air and there are a few Zero Waste wedding celebrations planned. One couple will tie the loveknot without forgetting to love up the planet on their special day.

 I had so much fun broadcasting this show, I'm sure you'll have fun listening! We played some tunes to promote a gig here last with Sinerise, Joseph Martin, and Texture & Light. New tunes from Sananga, INDUBIOUS, Trilion  and Boom One Sound System. Also music from S'Kaya, Katchafire, House of David Gang, Ghislain Poirier, ZEBRA KATZ, Resonators and we got a tune from Kytami who is peforming at Atmosphere Gathering! We hear dub, reggae, and dancehall, Drum and bass and some weird bass music that'll get you moving
