Bad Karen in conversation with Sunshine Coast MLA Nicholas Simons discussing, proposed changs to the Agricultural Land Reserve, proposed changes to provincial recycling in British Columbia, and Liquid Waste Management Planning.
Here is the link to the video of Nicholas Simons challenging the Minister responsible for reviewing government services for cost effectiveness to explain why no consultation occurred when making changes to our land protection systems.

Greetings all my listener! Stuff is definitely up in Victoria these days so today's show has a fairly long-ish edition of 'What's Up Down in Victoria' with Sunshine Coast MLA Nicholas Simons. We discuss all things acronym today: ALR [Agricultural Land Reserve aka where our food comes from], MMBC [Multi Materials BC aka recycling] and LWMP [Liquid Waste Management Planning aka where we ultimately recycle our food].
Plus, lots of great music from Talking Heads, VioletT Pi, Great Lakes Swimmers, Bele & Sebastien and more.
Tune it in and expand your civic horizons.

This week, David is plagued by technical issues, some of his own device and some thrust upon him by a fundamentally malicious universe. Listen in as so many things go so wrong. Still, amidst the chaos there shine out occasional moments of clarity and douceur.
