On this show I played a huge pile of 90's surf rock for most of the first hour. Also some classic 60's surf & for 4:20 some mid 60's Boogaloo from Tom & Jerrio. I finished the show off with a Battle of the Bands album The Montesas Vs The Imperial Surfers from 2013. ENJOY!

For the first hour I played a good mix of surf rock, old and new. Moving into the 2nd hour with some Psychobilly and Garage-rock. We've been basking in the heat this summer and visits to the beach have likely been on your agenda.  We're pleased to report back on the 3 beach cleanups that took place on Texada, Savary and south of Powell River.  We also speak with Chloe Debois of the Ocean Legacy Foundation to dig a bit deeper into the plastic pollution that unfortunately continues to wash ashore. If you find yourself out at the beach and see debris, especially plastic, please take a moment to stop and pick it up to dispose of if properly.
