On June 8th, Annie Becker and Brett Wildeman joined host Courtney Harrop live on the Film and Festival Express to talk about their sailboat tour, and play a few songs before their Powell River performance.
Great show today, with special guest appearances from John Silver to tell you everything you need to know about the upcoming PRISMA [Pacific Region International Symphony Academy], and Bill Hopkins with news about two events, the Rocco Walk-O that happened Saturday, and the PRIAX Box Wars coming up June 22 at Larry Gouthro Park.
Plus, the usual roundup of great music from Nouvelle Vague, Jill Barber, Hilary Grist, The Pixies and more!
Today David kicks off with a mini-superset of vintage psychedelia, including a track written on the same date of the broadcast 48 years earlier ("Section 43" by Country Joe & The Fish). Things degenerate after that, but in a nice way.
